The Result Announcement of the 7th English Radio Drama Competition The final and prize-giving ceremony of the 7th English Radio Drama Competition for Schools in Hong Kong & Macao was successfully held at the TWGHs Wong Yee Jar Jat Memorial Primary School on May 30, 2015. 11 teams performed their radio drama LIVE in front of our judges and audience. We have just uploaded the radio drama audio files from the short-listed teams onto our website, and it's time for you to vote! You can vote for your favourite radio drama for each level. Listen to the radio drama performances from the short-listed teams, and vote! Each person can cast one vote per day for each level. You can vote from now till April 30, 2015 (12:00 noon). The team from each level with the most number of votes will win the "Most Popular Performance" award. The Most Popular Radio Drama Performance Award will be announced on May 30, 2015 at our final competition and prize giving ceremony. Winners will be invited to the ceremony to receive their trophies. We are extremely pleased with the quality of your radio drama scripts submitted in Phase 1. Many teams have tied scores, and therefore we are inviting 18 teams in Primary Section and 21 teams in Secondary Section to enter Phase 2 of our competition. They are:

Enrollment is now OPEN! Ready? Action! This competition is organized by Smart Education Charitable Foundation and co-organized by Joint School Information Technology Association and Joint School Campus TV Association. We are also very glad to have the support from Educational Testing Services (ETS), BBC China, DYMO/Mimio, KEA Learning International Ltd, EL2100, Moskigo, NICI and KAWAI. TOPIC: “OUR TOWN” Shine a spotlight on your town and have fun using English in your classroom with the 7th English Radio Drama Competition. Your class will use English-language skills to explain what’s great about your town — in a radio drama program: Students will be inspired to practice and improve their English language learning skills, take pride in showing off OUR TOWN and work in teams to create amazing radio drama programs! Here are some questions to help your students brainstorm ideas:
What is special about OUR TOWN? ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER: Students attending full-time schools in Hong Kong and Macao are eligible to enter the competition. Students can form a team of no more than 5 members and submit a 5-minute play-script of a radio programme.
